الوصف
Blood serum contains two major protein groups; albumin and globulin. The albumin / globulin ratio is calculated by dividing serum albumin level over serum globulin level to determine whether there is an overproduction or underproduction of either of the two major components of serum proteins. دواعي الإستعمال
Decreased Albumin / Globulin ratios indicate kidney disease, or monoclonal / polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia. Albumin / Globulin ratio is increased in cases of hypogammaglobulinemia.
