The ssDNA Antibodies, Serum test detects antibodies directed against single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) in the blood. These antibodies are part of the immune system’s response to DNA and can be associated with autoimmune conditions. Helps in the diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune diseases, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and other connective tissue disorders. Can indicate active immune response against the patient’s own DNA, especially during disease flares
