Mullerian Hormone Antibodies, Serum/Plasma

الوصف

Anti- Mullarian hormone (AMH) is produced by granulosa cells in females and it is a reliable biomarker for ovarian reserves in women. The measurement of AMH can be used in fertility investigations in order to help predict the response of women to ovarian stimulation, estimate the time to menopause and also to diagnose and monitor women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

دواعي الإستعمال

A high AMH level means high egg quantity, but can occur with PCOS. Low levels of AMH is considered to be a sign of low ovarian reserves.
