Potassium Channel Abs (CASPR2, LGI1, DPPX), CSF

Cell-based antibody testing for CASPR2, LGI1, and DPPX neural surface antibodies in CSF.

Evaluates suspected autoimmune encephalitis, limbic encephalitis, seizures, cognitive/psychiatric change, Morvan/neuromyotonia spectrum, or DPPX-associated hyperexcitability syndromes.

CSF

Collect CSF aseptically in sterile polypropylene; avoid blood contamination. Paired serum is often important. Provide phenotype, MRI/EEG, and cancer history when available.
