Indications

Chromosomal analysis for hematological disorders of bone marrow is performed to identify specific chromosome rearrangements in neoplastic cells, which are often correlated to specific types of leukaemias, lymphomas or myelodysplasias.

Sample Type, Quantity & Conditions

2-3 ml Bone Marrow Aspirate, peripheral blood Room Temperature

Special Precautions

Sample must be sterile. Maintain sample at room temperature. Clinical details required. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
