Indications
The detection of CMV specific IgM antibodies indicates current or recent infection. However, low levels of IgM antibodies may occasionally persist for more than 12 months post-infection.

1 ml Serum 1 ml K2, K3-EDTA, Na, Li-Heparin, or Sodium Citrate Plasma Stability: 14 Days at 2-8 °C > 14 Days at -10 °C or Colder
Special Precautions
Avoid grossly haemolysed samples.
Normal Range
Non-Reactive: < 0.70 COI Intermediate: ≥ 0.70 - < 1.0 COI Reactive: ≥ 1.0 COI
