Indications
HAV-specific IgM antibodies can usually be detected by the onset of clinical symptoms and are often elevated in acute Hepatitis A infection. HAV-specific IgM response is limited to the initial infection (except in rare instances) and thus becomes a useful marker of acute disease.

1 ml Serum 1 ml K2, K3-EDTA, Na-Heparin, or Sodium Citrate Plasma Stability: 7 Days at 2-8 °C > 7 Days at -10 °C or Colder
Special Precautions
Avoid grossly haemolysed samples.
