Indications
HCV viral load quantitation is not usually performed to diagnose HCV infection. However, it is useful in follow up and assessment of response to antiviral therapy.

1.5 ml Serum or EDTA Plasma Frozen
Special Precautions
Collect in serum or EDTA separation vacutainer tube. Avoid contamination with DNA of phlebotomist and send tube unopened. Avoid haemolysed samples.
