Quantifies isopropanol, usually with acetone, by headspace gas chromatography as part of volatile alcohol testing.
Indications
Evaluates suspected isopropanol ingestion/exposure and contributes to work-up of toxic alcohol intoxication or unexplained osmolar-gap acidosis.
