Description

Indications

High LDL level poses a risk for cardiovascular disease.

1 ml Serum 1 ml Li, Na, NH4+-Heparin Plasma Stability: 7 Days at 2-8 °C 30 days at -70 °C

Special Precautions

12 Hrs fasting is preferred

Normal Range

Optimal: < 100 mg/dL < 2.59 mmol/L Bordeline: 100 - 129 mg/dL 2.59 - 3.34 mmol/L High: 130 - 159 mg/dL 3.37 - 4.12 mmol/L High Risk: ≥ 160 mg/dL ≥ 4.14 mmol/L
