Description
This test is used to detect and identify ten different Mycobacteria strains: M avium, M. celatum, M. chelonae, M. fortuitum 1, M. fortuitum 2, M. gordonae, M. intracellulare, M. kansasii, M. mariunum, and M. avium complex.
Indications
Infection with this microorganism is commonly found in patients with immunodeficiencies such as AIDS.
