Description
Used to evaluate oxygen deprivation and severity of circulatory failure.
Indications
Pyruvate may be increased in severe muscular work or muscle disorders, muscular dystrophy, severe heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, diabetes mellitus, thiamin deficiency and Reye’s syndrome.

Whole Blood with 7% Perchloric Acid Room Temperature
Special Precautions
Freezing is not recommended. Patient should be in a fasting and resting state.
