MedLabs Laboratories Renews Accreditation from the American College of Pathologists (CAP)

For the Seventh Consecutive Time

MedLabs has successfully renewed its accreditation from the American College of Pathologists (CAP) for the seventh consecutive time. The accreditation was granted after a specialized team from the American College of Pathologists conducted an inspection and assessed “MedLabs” against over two thousand standards. The renewal reaffirms “MedLabs'” commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in its laboratory practices.

MedLabs Main Laboratory (Reference Laboratory) with its diverse laboratory specialties and offering over 1000 different tests, holds the distinction of being the first laboratory in Jordan and the Arab Mashreq region within the private sector to achieve the prestigious College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation. This accreditation is considered the most stringent at the global level in the field of medical laboratories.

It is worth noting that “MedLabs” Laboratories obtained the CAP accreditation for the first time in 2011. They are the only laboratories in the Kingdom of Jordan to be accredited by CAP, ISO 15189, ISO 9001, in addition to receiving the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in 2011. All of their 57 branches scattered across the Kingdom are accredited by the Healthcare Accreditation Council (HCAC) to ensure the highest level of accuracy in delivering results to their patients.
