MedLabs Laboratories Chosen by the College of American Pathology to Form an Inspection Team

A team from MedLabs has been chosen by the College of American Pathology (CAP) to conduct an audit and inspection tour for accreditation purposes on an advanced laboratory in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates. MedLabs team was chosen because they implement all international quality standards for medical laboratories set by CAP in addition to the ability and professionalism of their team, keeping in mind that CAP accreditation is the golden standard for medical laboratory accreditation.

MedLabs team comprising of 6 specialists accredited as inspectors by CAP, did an inspection tour of a large medical laboratory in the UAE. The team was headed by Dr. George Sahyoun- Director of MedLabs’ Reference Laboratory and Chief Scientific Officer, and included Dr. Ruba Abed (Hematology), Mr. Nael Soudi-Chief Quality Officer, Dr. Layla Alkhatib (Microbiology), Mr. Mahmoud Hamasha-Quality and Safety Manager Reference Lab, and Ms. Suha Rabee’.

This cooperation is an added achievement to MedLabs track record of leadership in the medical laboratory field, as CAP only selects the most capable and well qualified professionals to be part of their inspection and accreditation teams. MedLabs is proud to be the only Jordanian private sector laboratories to be chosen by CAP to conduct such tasks.
