MedLabs Laboratories Holds a Venipuncture Workshop for its Employees
MedLabs recently held a Venipuncture Workshop for all its employees from all its 57 lab branches across the Kingdom that include more than 500 laboratory technicians, aiming to them on the latest standards, guidelines, and studies related to venipuncture procedure. The workshop, organized in collaboration with the National Center for Medical Supplies and Greiner Bio-One, was held at Medlabs headquarters in Jabal Amman.
This training course came in line with MedLabs’ continuous efforts to provide learning opportunities for all its employees, enhance their skills and increase their experience and efficiency in all areas of laboratory medicine. MedLabs is committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, quality assurance, general safety requirements, and international and local accreditations, making sure to practice and keep the highest professional ethics and values in the medical laboratory profession. This positively increases patient satisfaction and contributes to improving the healthcare sector and comprehensive healthcare services in Jordan.
The course was a great example for capacity building and for providing the employees with comprehensive knowledge in venipuncture procedure, by developing their sampling skills and training them how to deal with challenges they may face when dealing with difficult veins. The course covered all the latest updates in this field, with a primary focus on venipuncture techniques using new technologies offered by Greiner Bio-One and introduced for the first time at all MedLabs branches.
It is worth mentioning that MedLabs Laboratories covers all parts of the Kingdom through 57 branches, in addition to a chain of 6 branches in Palestine and 5 branches in Iraq.
