MedLabs Opens New Training Lab at the University of Jordan’s Faculty of Science

Amman, Jordan – Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nather Obeidat, President of the University of Jordan, and Dr. Manar Agha Al-Nimr, Chair of the Board of Directors of MedLabs Academy, a new state-of-the-art training lab was inaugurated in the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department, Faculty of Science. The lab was fully funded and supported by MedLabs and its Academy.

The opening ceremony welcomed esteemed guests, including Dr. Haseeb Sahyoun, Founder, CEO, and Chairman of MedLabs, Dr. Ashraf Abu Karaki, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Scientific Colleges, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jagoub, Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Ruba Abed, Dean of The MedLabs Academy, Ms. Zeina Sahyoun, Vice Chairwoman of The MedLabs Academy, and Dr. Ahmad Abu Siniya, Head of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department. The event was also attended by staff from The Academy and faculty members from the university.

During the event, Dr. Manar Agha Al-Nimr highlighted the significance of this collaboration between the University of Jordan and The Academy in supporting students’ education and practical training. She emphasized the importance of precision in laboratory tests, which enhances the quality of medical laboratories in the Kingdom and creates new job opportunities for graduates.

Prof. Dr. Natheer Obeidat expressed his pleasure with this strategic collaboration, stressing the importance of delivering high-quality training that combines scientific knowledge with practical skills, in line with both local and international quality standards.

This partnership aligns with MedLabs’ strategy of building effective collaborations with the public sector to support the development of medical laboratories in Jordan and enhance the skills of healthcare professionals in the field.
