Immunoglobulin G (IgG), Spot Urine

Description

Measures Immunoglobulin G (IgG) levels in a spot urine sample to assess glomerular permeability. Elevated urinary IgG indicates glomerular damage or increased protein leakage, as seen in glomerulonephritis, diabetic nephropathy, or other forms of renal disease.

Special Precautions

Freezing is not recommended. Centrifuge the urine samples for 10 min at ≥ 800 g.
